๐ย Holiday Greetings to You ๐
Christmas in the desert doesnโt look like the movies. No snowdrifts. No frozen sidewalks. No chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Instead, weโve got palm trees wrapped in lights, a stubbornly blue sky, and that one neighbor who insists on inflating a Santa in 75-degree weather.
ย
That saidโฆ we do see snow. Itโs right up there on top of San Jacinto, usually when weโre lying by the pool, sunglasses on, drink within reach. Does that count? Weโre saying yes.
ย
And honestly? We love it.
ย
This year has been full. Gym wins and sore muscles. Road trips and passports. Quiet nights at home and loud laughter around a table. Some chapters were easy. Others took a little grit. But all of it was real life, shared, imperfect, and ours.
ย
Thatโs what โThree Bears of the Desertโ is about. Not a highlight reel. Not a Hallmark movie. Just three guys living honestly, loving loudly, and learning as we go. With the occasional side-eye. And probably bourbon for Joey, a gin and tonic for Jerry, and a lemon drop martini for Chris.
ย
To everyone whoโs stopped by our space, read along, laughed with us, or saw a little bit of themselves in our storiesโฆ thank you. Youโre part of the den now.
ย
However you celebrate this season, we hope you find moments of warmth, connection, and peace. And if things feel complicated this year, thatโs okay too. Sometimes the gift is just getting through it with your heart intact.
ย
From our desert home to yours, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and hereโs to another year of stories, sweat, travel pawprints, and life well lived.
ย
With love,
Joey, Jerry, Chris
