ποΈββοΈ Keeping The Gym Streak Alive (Even In Mexico City)
So hereβs the deal β Iβve been in a groove. Early mornings, steady workouts, lifting more, walking faster, and feeling damn good about it. And next week, we head off to Mexico City for a week of adventure, tacos, and chaos with Jerry, Chris, and our good bear friends Dave, Larry, and John.
This will be my first time traveling while in an active training cycle, and Iβll admit β part of me is nervous to break the rhythm. But the other part (the one that owns way too many pairs of sneakers) is ready for the challenge.
The plan is simple: show up every day in some way.Β That might mean:
β’ Getting steps in exploring neighborhoods instead of a treadmill
β’ Using the Airbnb gym to keep the muscles awake
β’ Maybe a quick body-weight session before heading out for the day
β’ Or, you know, running from one end of La Merced market to the other chasing Jerry
This isnβt about moving the needle β itβs about maintaining momentum. Staying consistent. Proving that travel doesnβt have to derail the good stuff weβve built.
When I get back, weβll pick right up where we left offβ¦ maybe with a little extra cardio from all those churros.
